Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction, based on the author’s understanding of the science and his imagination of how it might have been when the floods
swept through the Pasco basin, down the Columbia River Gorge and out to sea. Since kids probably won’t get the story in a science medium but will more likely follow the fantasy version, this book tells a fantasy version of what science tells us probably happened and tries to promote the best real story produced by science.
