Cascades24 is a National Science Foundation sponsored meeting focused on magmatic, volcanic, and tectonic processes in the Cascades. It will be a small meeting environment, Monday August 5th through Friday August 9th at Oregon State University Cascades Campus in Bend.
Cascades24 will be a multidisciplinary examination of critical aspects of magmatism in subduction zones from the perspective of the canonical Cascade Arc system, from the deep mantle to the surface, and will serve as a forum for synthesizing a broad range of geophysical, geochemical, volcanological, geological, cultural, and other observations relative to understanding the complex roles played by magmatic processes in subduction zone systems.
Cascades24 is an NSF sponsored meeting, no registration fees are required and lodging is provided on campus, but there are limited spots available, so you must register to attend. Limited travel support will be available to early career participants (use the registration form to apply for these funds).
